Pedro Chavez Jr.
Pedro Chavez Jr. speaks from lived experience, not theory. He grew up without stability, spent his high school years homeless, and survived abuse that should have broken him. Instead, he chose a different path. He joined the Army, served through injury, and carried the weight that many veterans know too well when the uniform comes off.
For years he fought through uncertainty and loss, rebuilding himself step by step until he found a new purpose. That journey took him from survival to leadership, from broken places to boardrooms, and from silence to a voice that now helps others stand up in their own lives.
Today Pedro is an Engineering Executive, a nonprofit founder, and a mentor who teaches resilience through clarity, discipline, and honest self-reflection. His keynotes blend personal truth with real-world leadership lessons shaped in the military, in industry, and in the moments when giving up seemed easier than continuing.
He reminds audiences that your past does not define your ceiling. Your decisions do. His story is proof that you can rise from circumstances you never chose and build a life you are proud to lead.

Pedro Chavez Jr. joined the TEDxWCC event at Washtenaw Community College. Presenting the unique approach to leadership. Using human behavioral science, psychology, and body language to make people better at everyday conversations and leaders better at understanding how their message is understood.
Veterans Outreach
Through the Phoenix Foundation, I continue to speak at veteran events across the country—sharing lessons in leadership, resilience, and reinvention. These engagements focus on helping veterans translate military discipline into civilian success and purpose. Each talk is a mission to remind those who served that their story, their skills, and their spirit still matter—and always will.
